Andrea Redmon

DNP, NNP-BC

I knew I wanted to be a nurse that cared for sick babies since my 5th grade career shadow day and have never regretted that decision. I have been a nurse since 2005, and a NNP since 2009. I have traveled as a NNP to work at different units, expanding my knowledge and NICU cultural awareness. I obtained my DNP (Doctor of Nursing Practice) to integrate new evidence-based practice guidelines to elevate my clinical management. This program taught me to evaluate changes and practice improvements through quality assessment. I also enjoy mentoring new graduates and new to the practice advanced practice providers, guiding them too success.

I enjoy swimming, exploring aquariums and zoos, activity seeking at children’s museums, and children’s activity centers to spend time with my kiddos.
