Laurie L. Williamson is a board-certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner with 39 years of experience caring for medically complex and critically ill newborns. She is dedicated to delivering high- quality, evidence-based care while supporting and guiding families through some of their most vulnerable moments. Laurie’s approach to neonatal medicine blends clinical skill with deep compassion, ensuring that every baby and family receives personalized, attentive care.

Throughout her career, Laurie has been a strong advocate for collaborative, family-centered care and continuous learning within the NICU environment. She is passionate about mentoring healthcare providers and helping families feel informed and empowered during their newborn’s hospital stay.

Outside of her professional life, Laurie enjoys spending time with outdoors—hiking, biking, and gardening. She treasures time with her husband and two adult children. She finds her greatest joy in time spent with her grandson, whose curiosity and energy continually inspire her both personally and professionally. Laurie is also an avid sports fan, with a particular love for football and baseball, and enjoys cheering on her favorite teams throughout the season.
