Phillip spent most of his career at University of Utah Hospital in the NICU, a low birthweight center. He participated on different hospital committees and helped train Medical Interns and Residence. He became a certified Epic Trainer. He was responsible for educating the APPs and Neonatologist in the use of The Epic Medical Record. He was Adjunct Faculty at the University of Utah College of Nursing. He enjoyed managing the care of the tiniest babies and found great joy watching them grow and become well. He loves teaching parents about their baby and preparing them to transition from the hospital to home. Since moving to Arizona and joining Solar, he loves managing Level 2 babies and well babies at Abrazo West Campus. He is an adjunct faculty member at Grand Canyon University and is preceptor for the FNP Students doing their Well baby rotation. When he is at home, he loves spending time with his Wife Tana, taking long walks and gardening in his yard. They love visiting their children and granddaughters in Utah
