I’m a board-certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner with a deep passion for caring for newborns and supporting the families who love them. Nursing is my second career—I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Arizona State University in the late 90s. In my early 30s, I decided to follow my heart into nursing.
I completed my Diploma in Nursing at the Baptist School of Health Professions in San Antonio, TX, in 2007. I earned my BSN from Jacksonville University in Florida in 2015 and subsequently received my Master of Science in Nursing from Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, PA, in 2019.
I’ve spent nearly two decades working in Level III NICUs, where I’ve been privileged to care for critically ill and premature infants alongside dedicated teams. I’m also a certified NRP instructor, and I take great pride in mentoring new NNPs as they grow into confident, capable providers.
My clinical interests include neonatal resuscitation, developmental care, and building strong, supportive care teams. I believe deeply in the value of communication, collaboration, and kindness in every aspect of neonatal care.
Outside of work, I’m the proud mother of two incredible young adult children who are truly my world. I enjoy cooking, traveling, and spending time with my family. I’m excited to be part of this new neonatal group and to help create a team culture rooted in respect, growth, and excellent care for our tiniest patients.
